A new take on the Cycladic female figure, highlighting the strains of historic Black aesthetics reflected the ancient motif and referencing the modernist fascination with both Cycladic and African depictions of the human form. Placing unique stencils upon vibrant monoprinted backgrounds inspired by the interplay of graffiti with the ancient backdrop of Athens.
These prints were composed during the Kypseli Print Studio Fall Residency.
